“ZalaZ” is a group of people projecting its actions, concerns and vision about the natural environment in the local and global community. In an aim to support the process of harmonization between Humankind and Nature we act and spread the word in accordance with the ethics of environmental sustainability as an alternative against the destruction of nature, wildlife extinction and global pollution.
Our natural environment should be kept as pristine as possible and nature resources should be treated and used only at a rate at which they can be replenished naturally! Every aware human is responsible for keeping the harmony patiently formed for millions of years in this paradise oasis called Mother Earth.
We believe that every individual can take an important role in saving Humankind ‘n’ Nature in Harmony by reducing their own usage of non-renewable nature resources in their products and activities.
The natural environment of Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo is a perfect area for developing outdoor tourism!
Following our love and passion for trekking, hiking and the outdoors as well as our environmental concern, we found that encouraging these activities by respecting the idea of Ecotourism can ensure the sustainable development for local communities here.
That’s why “Zalaz” project is orientated at 8 focuses in our local area:
The expected increase of hiking/trekking enthusiasts and visitors in Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo will demand an appropriate response about how to reduce their outdoor impacts!
ZalaZ project accepts and promotes the Leave No Trace educational and ethical program and techniques to prevent and minimise such impacts.
We practise and teach seven principles of outdoor acting:
- Plan ahead and prepare
- Travel and camp on durable surfaces
- Dispose of waste properly
- Leave what you find
- Minimise campfire impacts
- Respect wildlife
- Be considerate of other visitors

As a contribution to Mankind ‘n’ Nature in Harmony, the ZalaZ team took the part in creating a “no budget” ecoFilm produced by the good will of the “PlemeNiti” tribe, the NGO “RAST”, and supported by NATURE itself.
